Reimbursement Through the CARES Act
Jefferson County Private Entities, Small Businesses and Non-Profits are eligible to apply for reimbursements starting on August 17, 2020.
The 3rd and FINAL Round of applications are being accepted thru November 10, 2020
Funds are available to Jefferson County Businesses and Non-Profits who employ between 4-500 people (non-profits are exempt from employment criteria) SEE FAQ’s below for more eligibility criteria.
CARES Act funds CAN NOT be used to reimburse for lost revenue.
Political Subdivisions, Private Schools and Public Schools are eligible to apply for reimbursements starting on August 3, 2020. For more information to apply, visit the Jefferson County CARES Act Portal for Political Subdivisions and Schools.
Small Business & Non-Profit Emergency Relief Reimbursement Program
Provides direct reimbursements up to $5,000 to private businesses for expenses associated with ensuring the health and safety of employees and patrons.
Provides financial reimbursement up to $25,000 to qualified small businesses and non-profit organizations impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Steps to Complete the Application
Step 1: Download the applicable documents above.
Step 2: Complete and submit online your application.
Step 3: Complete the Jefferson County CARES Act Reimbursement Spreadsheet (note there are two worksheets in the Excel Work book (Labor Costs + Other Costs) and email to EDCjeffcomo@gmail.com EMAIL EXCEL SPREADSHEET completed in original format. PLEASE DO NOT CONVERT TO PDF.
Step 4: Sign & Notarize the Jefferson County CARES Act Certification and make copies of receipts and/or supporting documentation as required to support your application and mail to: EDC of Jefferson County, PO BOX 623, Hillsboro, MO 63050
